🎃 Community goal
A limited-time seasonal event (Halloween, Christmas...) shared by every server running the bot. Each server works towards its own goal, and all servers together fill one big community bar with rewards along the way.
/event), which is for scheduling an outing or a game night with sign-ups. The community goal is a separate thing, with its own command: /goal.How to collect
- Automatically, just by chatting: your messages bring in a little on their own (with an anti-spam delay, so flooding gets you nothing extra). Nothing to do, nothing to type.
- Voluntarily with
/goal contribute: you give some of your server money, which is converted into event units.
Your server's goal
Each server's goal is calculated from its real activity (the members who actually talked recently), not from its raw member count. A small, lively server and a huge, quiet one both aim for 100% of their own goal - a 100-member server never has to match a 2,000-member one.
When your server reaches its goal, it's announced right there. Collection doesn't stop though: everything keeps feeding the community bar.
The community bar and its tiers
All servers together fill a shared bar. Every time it crosses a tier (for example 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%), every server is notified and the tier's reward is unlocked.
The community goal is calculated automatically from the real activity of the servers where the bot is, and it keeps adjusting during the event: a server that goes quiet doesn't make the goal harder for everyone else. Tiers already reached stay reached.
Your personal bar
Each member also has their own bar, which adds up everything you collect on every server. Filling it is what earns you the tier rewards. It's set to what an active member collects just by chatting over the event: taking part a little is enough, only members who stay completely absent miss out.
- Rewards are handed out automatically: as soon as your bar is full you get everything already unlocked, and every tier unlocked later reaches you right away.
- Rewards can be a title, a badge, the x2 bonus or a
/profilbanner (equip it with/profil config). Unlocked banners stay yours after the event. - The rewards for each tier are shown in
/goal info, and can change from one event to the next.
Commands
/goal info- your server's progress, the community's, your personal bar and the tiers already unlocked./goal contribute- add units to the pot from your money (within today's cap)./goal leaderboard- your server's top 10 and the whole community's top 10.
/profil banner with their exact rank written on it, on top of the tier rewards. For server admins
There's nothing to set up: the event is run by the bot team, for all servers at once. The launch and tier announcements go to the channel picked in General settings > LQS Bot announcements, otherwise to your server's system channel. With neither, the bot posts nothing: it never picks a channel at random. The same card lets you turn these announcements off. If your server's economy is disabled, your members still collect by chatting - only the voluntary contribution needs money.
